Hockey being our national game has strong roots in sporting history of Pakistan. However, owing to lack of resources and up gradation to scientific means, the standard of game has suffered immensely in recent past. In view of this, FFC CSR endorsed a collaboration model with PHF in 2017 for the support of talented players. This one year program successfully concluded in May 2018 with a total contribution of over Rs 2.2 million.
Malik Saad Memorial Trust has undertaken the mission of reviving national and international sports talent in KPK. Top line academies have been established all across the province with expert coaching to young talented players in various sports. In order to support this initiative, FFC donated Rs 0.5 million in 2018.

FFC has signed a MOU with Pakistan Hockey Federation, the governing body for the sport of hockey in Pakistan on 22nd May 2017 for the support, uplift and promotion of hockey and emerging talent in the country. The ceremony was held at FFC head office with attendees including PHF Secretary and former Olympian Mr. Shahbaz Senior, Treasurer PHF Mr. Ikhlaq, former Olympians Mr. Mansoor Khan and Mr. Saeed Khan.
Head of FFC CSR, Brig Abid Mahmud (Retd) on the occasion reaffirmed his company’s commitment toward nation building and national causes. The gradual decline of this national sport is endeavored to be addressed through this collaboration and the former glory of Pakistan in this sport will hopefully be revived. Total magnitude of collaboration for 2017 stands at Rs 2.4 million.

SWF has played a proactive role in the promotion of sports activities and development of new talent. In continuation of this objective, SWF co-sponsored 46th National Athletic Championship-2015 which featured over 700 Athletic from across Pakistan, participating in multiple sporting event.
1st All Pakistan Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited National Ranking Tennis Championship, saw 174 leading players from across Pakistan competing for excellence.

SWF is playing the role of patron to women tennis in Pakistan and our sports ambassadors are excelling in both national and international stage. Ms Ushan Suhail made history in 2015 by securing World Tennis Ranking point, the first for any Pakistani women tennis players. SWF Junior Sports Ambassadors Alina and Mahin Aftab have also participated in leading national and international tournaments held by ITF. Mahin Aftab made history by becoming Pakistan’s 1st Women Tennis Player to win Asian U/14 championship in Vietnam. Both the players also represented Pakistan in Fed Cup 2015.
Promotion of sports and development of new talent is a primary feature of SWF CSR interventions. In view of this, SWF CSR in 2015 has initiated its 1st comprehensive Summer Sports Program at Plantsite Goth Machhi and Mirpur Mathelo. The program includes professional coaching to young and emerging players at the respective sites in sports disciplines including Squash, Tennis, Swimming and Football.
SWF CSR collaborated with Pakistan Tennis Federation and Army Sports Directorate to acquire the services of reputed national and international standard coaches for the sports camp. The camps are in progress in Mirpur Mathelo and Goth Machhi.
